Review: The left side of the skirt is completely loose and not attached to the dress. The bodice is designed for a long torso, and the soft plastic boning in the front and beside the lace-up back is too flexible to provide proper support. The front boning also extends too low and reaches my groin, and I am not short. The skirt has a lot of excess fabric and would benefit from being shorter. There are no non-slip strips in the bust, and the dress runs large, so I recommend sizing down. Despite these issues, I decided to keep it because the materials are beautiful. The velvet skirt and matching scarf feel luxurious, the sequins are securely attached, and the overall construction is good. Once altered, I think it will be a lovely dress. I would recommend it if you are tall or don't mind having alterations done to achieve the best fit.
